Sempu Island

Segara Anakan - Sempu Island

Sempu, white sanded beach located in southern Malang, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. This beach totally isolated from outsiders. No one lives in this island. How to get here? From Surabaya, we take 5 ride untill Sendang Biru Beach, from here we must borrow a ship, price could be IDR 10.000,00 per person. And the minimum quantity around 6 to 10 people to go to sail. That's not stop until there, we must take around, normally, 2 hours walk trough the forest until we get to the trully beach. But all your effort will be paid by the beauty of the beach.

This place is always recomended to you which love adventures. I suggest you to have a camp here 'cause you can feel the nature lively at noon and night. Both of them are totally different!! If you wanna go to this place, you better to go here at 2 p.m local time because the sea level is subsided and better to leave at 11 a.m local time. 12 o'clock is a beutiful time for the sea to get rise. And it will shallow your tent.

Do not be so frightened about isolated island. Even it is isolated, it's a small island. And used for tourism. There are tracks in there. If you are not domestic tourist, you prbaby better to have a guide. They will help you to bergain and tranlate everything for you. Have a nice trip :)

We can see a lot of animal here, such as octopuses, shrimps, fishes, and many more. You can lay down, sunbathing at the beach with no worries to disturb by children. Like what I do and my friends do :)
